Sunday Getaway

Tuesday, August 30, 2016 By Glennie Rem 0 Comments

Right from a hell of a week of chasing deadlines one after another, studying a whole bunch of chapters (or did I?), stressful cramming at the last minute before the exam, not to mention the painful process of moving on along with it, I thank God for this weekend getaway just when I need it most. I believe I deserve a much-needed pampering and relaxation.

I am even more delighted my cousins decided to join in. We departed around 10 in the morning, the sun has never surprised me like that before. It was then I realized my sunscreen was left unchecked on my packing list.  (Y'all beach-goers have got to put it on top of your list especially since the Philippines is hot and humid year-round)

The resort's international awards on environmental benignity received us upon entry. And I couldn’t agree more why the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) picked the hotel. As we find our way to the beach, we were stunned by the villas' refined motif—dark wood along with orange dim lights that gave us the ideal feels for loosening up. The resort's name genuinely describes its main attraction. The beach is indeed crystal clear and sky blue fronted by a wide white stretch of fine-grained sandbar surrounded by breezy coconut palm trees, cottages, beach beds, volleyball and badminton courts, playground, and many more

There are scattered enticing, recently reconditioned large swimming pools for both adults and children around the resort with local and international restaurants alongside. These food outlets offer variety cuisine served fresh and in quality.

Across the beachfront is a private island that can be the perfect reception for your events. Withal, when not under operation, it is just accessible to resort guests providing them a more exclusive spot to sunbathe plus a splendid view of the open sea and the beachfront.

Overall it was a remarkable experience. Visit them at Buyong, Maribago, Lapu-Lapu City and see for yourself. Website: www.bluewatermaribago.com.ph
